Hugon Zawacki hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Octavian Movileanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Löfskog in the 18th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malte Askestät in the 22nd minute. Roger Eriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Eriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Löfskog's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Sonny Carlberg from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Jakob Löfskog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. HisingsBacka FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malte Askestät in the 30th minute. Sonny Carlberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of HisingsBacka FC's Gösta Hjälm. Gösta Hjälm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the HisingsBacka FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Gösta Hjälm in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by HisingsBacka FC's Octavian Movileanu. But to his dismay, Octavian Movileanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 68th minute, Octavian Movileanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Askestät in the 77th minute of play. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Malte Askestät shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Malte Askestät shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HisingsBacka FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
