Dadá Maravilha scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Maravilha came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Mendes could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. After 13 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Oberrauch. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck CJ Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but CJ Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when FC Barrera 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. CJ Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of the match. Marco Day was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Dadá Maravilha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dadá Maravilha really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Dadá Maravilha made the kick off in the second half. Zach Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Buffon having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Monty Rogers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving CJ Buffon. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp was substituted for Dadá Maravilha. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne.
