Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Colin in the 14th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Wester in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Kristian Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leif Classon fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralles Bollklubb's protests and gave Leif Classon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ralles Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Classon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ralles Bollklubb's Kristian Odén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes, Ralles Bollklubb's Magne Blomqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ralles Bollklubb reached it. Alfons Påk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Wester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralles Bollklubb's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Odén, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Colin in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Odén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Bengt Colin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Classon in the 81st minute of play. Kristian Odén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ralles Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Leif Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ralles Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Classon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kristian Odén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
