An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Andrei Cerbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Wilson Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Cerbu saved GLADIADORES from getting behind. After 18 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Catarinense. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Rozarius in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 30th minute of play. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Andrei Cerbu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chile booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Alan Tamayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Johannes Stein, made in the 35th minute of the game. GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 35th minute of play. When GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erasmo Zanette made a great header on GLADIADORES's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save GLADIADORES from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Cerbu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paşa Safih replaced Johannes Stein. 96 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Rozarius came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
