Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Puja SE's Beremundo Turrilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Puja SE's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Árpád Kerekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Árpád Kerekes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Kerekes having to interfere. Árpád Kerekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Árpád Kerekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced Puja SE's goalkeeper Árpád Kerekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beremundo Turrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a Puja SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Eliodor Manciulea:s penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Hasan Tahsin İltemur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puja SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Tahsin İltemur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Árpád Kerekes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes did a great save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 86 minutes into the match, Puja SE's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Árpád Kerekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Árpád Kerekes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Árpád Kerekes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Puja SE from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes Puja SE got a freekick which was hit by Chu Gang Jun. 97 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Árpád Kerekes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Puja SE players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
