In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Jun Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Zhuang Jun Di. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Prospero Sandaili looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhuang Jun Di read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Siro Salomon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Zhuang Jun Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Di Pasquale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Zhuang Jun Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Zhuang Jun Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Zhuang Jun Di despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zhuang Jun Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhuang Jun Di having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhuang Jun Di prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Amado Elixio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zhuang Jun Di reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zhuang Jun Di. The Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhuang Jun Di should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Jun Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 2-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. In the 65th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Sandaili in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhuang Jun Di came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Pasquale in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhuang Jun Di narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zhuang Jun Di made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhuang Jun Di having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C.
