Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Nuralp Taşan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Furkan Kaşif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Furkan Kaşif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuma Akergin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Ömür Necat came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ÇANSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömür Necat couldn't finish the play. In the 18thth minute of the game Ömür Necat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ÇANSPOR booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ÇANSPOR were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cuma Akergin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cuma Akergin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The attack was good, but when Ömür Necat in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Müjdat Kunt struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÇANSPOR. Müjdat Kunt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Müjdat Kunt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Müjdat Kunt made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ÇANSPOR booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Müjdat Kunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Müjdat Kunt in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ÇANSPOR's Müjdat Kunt. But to his dismay, Müjdat Kunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müjdat Kunt in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuralp Taşan got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Müjdat Kunt. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brun Thing having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müjdat Kunt in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Müjdat Kunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
