Alfredinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Murgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Guisla in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredinho Gerber saved C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Guisla in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Guisla got free with Alfredinho Gerber in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Mustafa in the 14th minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mustafa in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Murgu in the 23rd minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting a goal against them. Sergio Mustafa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Guisla in the 28th minute of play. When Vladimiro Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Playa Malvín's protests and gave Vladimiro Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Marquez. In the 32ndth minute of the game Teodoro Nikola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaac Incendio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Incendio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber got control of the ball when Stelian Murgu tried to sneak it across the goal line.

C.U.E. DE COMERCIO made a substitution. Betão Veiga replaced Francisco Taveira. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Mustafa to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Teodoro Nikola notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira. Zé Roberto Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandu Mândrilă charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Mândrilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Sandu Mândrilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. DE COMERCIO's Byrne Hopkins was substituted for Xian J.J.. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Niva Espellosa replaced Jabier Igual. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Salvador Romano was substituted for Sergio Mustafa. After a rather tough play, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Magne Söderberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Josu Onez in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Betão Veiga. DE COMERCIO booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josu Onez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa started the play with the initial kick off. In the 104th minute Salvador Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niva Espellosa in the 109th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 114 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn De Hond. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Nikola's shot from short distance in the 115th minute. In the 116th minute, Salvador Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
