Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Curea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, AC MiLaN's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Curea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Dorel Crăcană with Filip Vlaicu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Curea. Victor Curea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Curea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Văcărescu in the 27th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of AC MiLaN's Victor Curea. Victor Curea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 96th of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Victor Curea got in the way and made a wonderful save.
