Luís Diazs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC Dlha booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymoteusz Pryputnicki hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Diaz. Kent Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Pisarčík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Ján Hnilica capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ján Hnilica really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rudolf Pisarčík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ján Hnilica scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Dlha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Sobera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jozef Koščo made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ján Hnilica immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rudolf Pisarčík made a huge save. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FC Dlha were the better team. FC Dlha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
