Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Michal Kiszkiel sent off a good shot on target. Miedzyrzec Utd's Michal Kiszkiel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Chwalkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rafal Dziura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Kiszkiel got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafal Dziura having to make a save. In the 30th minute Ryszard Glaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miedzyrzec Utd were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leszek Radzyminski took the corner. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Miedzyrzec Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Miedzyrzec Utd's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Dziura came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Miedzyrzec Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Katsoulakis in the 39th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Chwalkiewicz in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ryszard Glaza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the game, Michal Kiszkiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Kiszkiel to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Glaza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Glaza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Vassilis Katsoulakis scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vassilis Katsoulakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Leszek Radzyminski's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Radzyminski helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Miedzyrzec Utd got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Radzyminski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Glaza in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Miedzyrzec Utd got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Radzyminski. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Kiszkiel went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Michal Kiszkiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Michal Kiszkiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Katsoulakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafal Dziura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Glaza in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Dziura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Miedzyrzec Utd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
