An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bent Streyder got free with Rolando Noboa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Peru booed when Holmkjar Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Katsir didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Holmkjar Hotspurs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-2.

The supporters of Peru booed when Holmkjar Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franck Lydicksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Streyder, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elmar Lexbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Tristan Nordlet made a huge save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Lexbo in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Kalle Molnit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Kalle Molnit in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristan Nordlet. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play.
