Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ladislao Calisto hit a great ball. Alfred Pawelczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Alfred Pawelczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Pawelczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Pawelczyk in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Aztore. Eriberto Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Pawelczyk came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Pawelczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cura del Futbol's Eriberto Erlantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cura del Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute Alfred Pawelczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Eriberto Erlantz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Eriberto Erlantz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Eriberto Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Abadia to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Eriberto Erlantz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Pawelczyk came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Alfred Pawelczyk made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alfred Pawelczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cura del Futbol could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
