A collision led to Masters United F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Roman Nalo hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes Masters United F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna managed to reach the ball for a save. 24 minutes into the game, Saverio Teofilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florencio Rafe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Bologna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Masters United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Bologna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Anselmo Ted fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masters United F.C.'s protests and gave Anselmo Ted a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Bologna had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Istad in the 38th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Bologna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Zorita's late challenge caught a Masters United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Florencio Rafe sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Florencio Rafe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florencio Rafe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Martin Istad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Enrique Bologna in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Masters United F.C.'s keeper Enrique Bologna was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Masters United F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Roman Nalo. 88 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bologna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Masters United F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
