Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Emanuel Tome:s penalty. 23 minutes into the match, TRIDΣNT's Chucky Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remigio Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Chucky Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 3-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes TRIDΣNT got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Medero. TRIDΣNT made a substitution. Esteban Salomon replaced Chucky Gol. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Salomon made a kick off. Ecuador's Luz Palacio was substituted for Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Ecuador booed when TRIDΣNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Russell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luz Palacio came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Palacio couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by TRIDΣNT's Esteban Salomon. But to his dismay, Esteban Salomon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. The TRIDΣNT players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
