Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conni Viehl took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Schönhagen 1's Anjo Gafus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conni Viehl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Conni Viehl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anjo Gafus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anjo Gafus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The supporters of Fc Schönhagen 1 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Erik Piller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Erik Piller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fc Schönhagen 1 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Heiner Wirtz hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anjo Gafus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Fc Schönhagen 1's Anjo Gafus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Bonito Teufer made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Piller in the 38th minute of the match. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Anjo Gafus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica.

After having played for 55 minutes, Conni Viehl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Piller in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Fc Schönhagen 1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Piller, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonito Teufer in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
