Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benne Verdonk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Zahir Betroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mathijs Grommers sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Nakties Klajūnai's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Benne Verdonk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mathijs Grommers sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Verdonk. Benne Verdonk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Irmantas Jasilionis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irmantas Jasilionis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Mathijs Grommers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nakties Klajūnai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathijs Grommers to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathijs Grommers, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Benne Verdonk in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irmantas Jasilionis struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nakties Klajūnai. After 65 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Benne Verdonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Benne Verdonk in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 77th match minute, Nakties Klajūnai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Cera to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Felix Montenegro in the 78th minute really tested Benne Verdonk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Virgilijus Ratkevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Palacio in the 86th minute of play forced Nakties Klajūnai's goalkeeper Benne Verdonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Luz Palacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Benne Verdonk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Verdonk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 minutes Nakties Klajūnai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Nakties Klajūnai's Benne Verdonk got control of the ball when Luz Palacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Schütterle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benne Verdonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than Nakties Klajūnai and deserved their victory. The Nakties Klajūnai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
