Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Emilio Bikendi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilio Bikendi. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emilio Bikendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. In the 79th minute Urbano Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes in the game Enrique Mitxaut did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Urbano Kusko. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Salvador played a much better game than DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA and deserved their victory. The DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
