Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orlando Lluques in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Boca Juniors's corner Pepito Santalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Orlando Lluques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pepito Santalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepito Santalla in the 26th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Nuno in the 30th minute of play. Primitivo Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sotil made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. If Santino Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Primitivo Fernanco made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Garrido came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Bertran came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. In the 91st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Ignacio Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Primitivo Fernanco. The goal made the score 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
