Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hernán Leandro might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernán Leandro ran back to his position shaking his head. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ruperto Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of play. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Harrison in the 13th minute of the match. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro. But to his dismay, Hernán Leandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ruperto Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Hernán Leandro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Day, 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Gaafar Carrillo came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 46th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Dario Hussain made the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Platense from getting a goal against them. Leon Platense made a substitution. Gonzalo Adrio replaced Teodoro Honrio. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Hussain in the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 87th minute of play. Ruperto Rainerio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. Raphael Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ruperto Rainerio stood somewhat misplaced when Sam Campbell came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 94 minute. USA played a much better game than Leon Platense and deserved their victory. The Leon Platense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
