To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Wallgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dries Ramps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Wallgren in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Christian Sancho threw the ball into play from the sideline. IFK Stockholm's Battal Cüneyt Akova quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Dries Ramps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Osvaldo Otsoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Stockholm and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. IFK Stockholm's Dries Ramps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of play. Adrian Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Otsoko in the 53rd minute of play. Osvaldo Otsoko took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dries Ramps. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Dries Ramps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Cüneyt Akova kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Dries Ramps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dries Ramps. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Dries Ramps got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. If Osvaldo Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dries Ramps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Dries Ramps got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries Ramps having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 90th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Dries Ramps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK Stockholm's Bertil Andreasson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dries Ramps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 94th minute of play. The IFK Stockholm players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
