Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanislav Satinský having to make a save. Stanislav Satinský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of the match. Artur Rakiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. If Radomil Bielatowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Rakiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Radomil Bielatowicz came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the MZKS Sharks Gdynia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Bielatowicz couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Remigiusz Cempa in the 29 minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Artur Rakiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalkeeper Stanislav Satinský, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomil Bielatowicz was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rakiewicz in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Bielatowicz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Radomil Bielatowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a little luck, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Stanislav Satinský got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Satinský having to interfere. The throw-in from Remigiusz Cempa in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Bielatowicz in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of MZKS Sharks Gdynia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Rakiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Niek Wander came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niek Wander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Artur Rakiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that MZKS Sharks Gdynia were the better team. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
