Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaroslaw Huratiak. Jaroslaw Huratiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylwester Turok during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jaroslaw Huratiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugon Kajdasz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jaroslaw Huratiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jaroslaw Huratiak. Guillermo Mariano thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jonathan Ferrant, a very annoying self made goal in the 31st minute which led to 2-2. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jaroslaw Huratiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jaroslaw Huratiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Borek Kot. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Marcin Zapolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

52 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Wisła Kraków Old Boys's Jaroslaw Huratiak. Jaroslaw Huratiak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Wisła Kraków Old Boys booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Szymkowiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Wisła Kraków Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute Miroslaw Szymkowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Wisła Kraków Old Boys's protests and gave Maciej Żurawski a yellow card for diving instead. Maciej Żurawski kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 97 played minutes Joshua Secada rounded Wisła Kraków Old Boys's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-6. The Wisła Kraków Old Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
