In the 15th minute, Fryderyk Jajecznica made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fryderyk Jajecznica sent off a good shot on target. Witold Pryputnicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Spartans Lodz made a substitution. Karol Karp replaced Tolek Maziarski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Spartans Lodz were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iwan Ostrowski took the corner. Spartans Lodz's Iwan Ostrowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zula Zworski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Procopio Trespalacios. Procopio Trespalacios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Zworski in the 95th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Zworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Venezuela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Spartans Lodz from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
