The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pancha Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Tancredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Cieliczka having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pancha Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fan Qi Bin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Cieliczka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sultan-Mehmet De Paula scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gilbert Cieliczka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Pancha Futbol Club's Gilbert Cieliczka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Gilbert Cieliczka came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 34 minutes into the game, Pancha Futbol Club's Anthon Mellbad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Gilbert Cieliczka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert Cieliczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anthon Mellbad made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Cieliczka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Tancredo in the 57th minute of the match. Sultan-Mehmet De Paula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Cieliczka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 3-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Cieliczka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Cieliczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gilbert Cieliczka made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 77th minute Maximo Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Pancha Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Gilbert Cieliczka, making the score, 3-3. Felix Montenegro in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilbert Cieliczka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Gartzi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
