Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. Amos Maietta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Durvalino Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Vitório Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Itapema booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jervis Tresise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Itapema's Vitório Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute of play. Jervis Tresise took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jervis Tresise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Amos Maietta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 41st minute of play. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Massa. Vitório Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jervis Tresise made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jervis Tresise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Maietta in the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vitório Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 80th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Christian Saldanha made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Telmo Oliveira however managed to control. A collision led to Itapema getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Eugenio Ramundo hit a great ball. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durvalino Cavalcante during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Amos Maietta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Itapema fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
