Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. Vitório Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Alex Cambeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Itapema's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Vitório Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Itapema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ramundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jervis Tresise to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Vitório Massa in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Miralles in the 54th minute of play forced Itapema's goalkeeper Vitório Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes Itapema's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. 56 minutes into the game, Amos Maietta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Massa saved Itapema from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Eugenio Ramundo put in a rough tackle. Eugenio Ramundo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Itapema's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Massa came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Vitório Massa to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Cavalcante in the 67th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitório Massa. Vitório Massa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 74th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Vitório Massa. Itapema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Miguel Miralles took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Vitório Massa to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Itapema booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Maietta came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Itapema's Vitório Massa got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Itapema's Vitório Massa. Vitório Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itapema throughout the match.
