YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandino in the 19th minute of play. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th match minute, YR☆ Rossoneri™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bungescu to maneuver through the defense. Iordache Minea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mario Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Fernandino couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Minea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Drogoreanu in the 54th minute of play. Joshua Miralles hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Minea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Minea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Drogoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso de la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Iordache Minea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in YR☆ Rossoneri™'s zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Minea came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
