After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Andreas Stehr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Andreas Stehr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ademovic Football Academy booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Stehr in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Stehr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. In the 68th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Facundo Cadaval to score against Tanek Nakoneczny in Ademovic Football Academy's goal. 2-3 after 69 minutes. In the 72nd minute Andreas Stehr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play forced Ademovic Football Academy's goalkeeper Tanek Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademovic Football Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Klaas Lieder in the 85th minute. Andreas Stehr ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ademovic Football Academy throughout the match.
