Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Krasko having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michal Krasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Dobrudja 1919's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michal Krasko quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Jonathan Soberano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Petrică Turcescu in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Peter Petro made a great header on Dobrudja 1919's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michal Krasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michal Krasko quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Turcescu in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Petrică Turcescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Petrică Turcescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Michal Krasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 51st minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michal Krasko came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 51st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michal Krasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ján Dančo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. In the 73rd minute Petrică Turcescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Peter Petro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dobrudja 1919's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Michal Krasko, making the score, 1-5. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a Dobrudja 1919's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Turcescu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Michal Krasko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dobrudja 1919 throughout the match.
