Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Leo Inautzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MetalGarurumon F.C's goalkeeper Silvino Domingo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Silvino Domingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Tadeu Afonso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvino Domingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Jeziorkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Afonso during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Inautzi in the 64th minute of play. Gasteiz Amarita took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. MetalGarurumon F.C's Marcelito Velasco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Silvino Domingo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvino Domingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Jeziorkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvino Domingo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 88 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Gasteiz Amarita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MetalGarurumon F.C and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gasteiz Amarita kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 95thth minute. Though ot was a great shot MetalGarurumon F.C's keeper Silvino Domingo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 96 played minutes MetalGarurumon F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gasteiz Amarita. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. MetalGarurumon F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
