In a very dangerous position, a player in Blackeagle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blackeagle's Jelmer Waard. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Blackeagle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Jelmer Waard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blackeagle's Jelmer Waard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sun Wei Sang in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackeagle the free kick. The supporters of Blackeagle booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remigio Ihazintu went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Ihazintu in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jelmer Waard made a huge save. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sun Wei Sang went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 77th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelmer Waard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jelmer Waard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blackeagle's Jelmer Waard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Blackeagle from getting a goal against them. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blackeagle's Ading Tauhid quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lautaro Mancebo, made in the 89th minute of the game. Remigio Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Remigio Ihazintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Blackeagle were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
