Jabones Tocadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Geronimo Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 11 minutes into the match. Geronimo Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Ferrando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Geronimo Ferrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geronimo Ferrando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Geronimo Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Ferrando having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Ferrando. Jabones Tocadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Carmelo Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Geronimo Ferrando in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geronimo Ferrando, 0-8. Geronimo Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Geronimo Ferrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Ferrando. That made the score 0-9 in the 73 minute of play. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 78th minute, Desiderio Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita scored 0-10 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Ferrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Ferrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Mauro Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jabones Tocadores's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Lorien in the 87th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Geronimo Ferrando made a huge save. Geronimo Ferrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Urtsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jabones Tocadores's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Ferrando came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jabones Tocadores fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
