Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Gep FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marcos Fidencio hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Saul Nesto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gep FC's Saul Nesto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 15th minute. Marcos Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Inocencio Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gep FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gep FC's Saul Nesto did a great save. Juan Müller's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Müller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Saul Nesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Juan Müller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Juan Müller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Saul Nesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Gep FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Müller to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Elvio Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gep FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Louis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Gep FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Nesto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute, Marcos Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gep FC's Antonello Bartolomucci was substituted for Inocencio Lizardi. Marcos Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gep FC's Saul Nesto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gep FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saul Nesto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Gep FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Saul Nesto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gep FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sun Xing Jian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Bartolomucci in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gep FC.
