Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerrie Kuijsten got the match started through his kick off. Serge Buring came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Serge Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 8th minute of play. Mathijs Looze kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Serge Buring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Buring having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Ágætis Byrjun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Waterman to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ágætis Byrjun! 33 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gerrie Kuijsten's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerrie Kuijsten helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serge Buring read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The Ágætis Byrjun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Ágætis Byrjun's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Serge Buring, making the score, 0-5. Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ágætis Byrjun from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Serge Buring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serge Buring was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 87th minute. Serge Buring made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jose Correa sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th match minute, Ágætis Byrjun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Waterman to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ágætis Byrjun throughout the match.
