With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Oscar Giraldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Cezary Chrzan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SMOCZANKA MIELEC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maksymilian Oliszewski came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Oscar Giraldo made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Maksymilian Oliszewski managed to make a qualified save. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's players were relieved. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Maksymilian Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Maksymilian Oliszewski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Wassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Sylwester Klimkiewicz was substituted for Cezary Chrzan. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo.
