Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jason Seagrave made a kick off. Hockley AFC's Fred Lineker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Hockley AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hockley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Hedges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
