Porteño Prowess FC's Song Yu Chen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 9 minutes, Enrico Barreneche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Barreneche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Enrico Barreneche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kang Han Zhen in the 16th minute of play. &La vieja Guardia&'s Fidel Teofilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save &La vieja Guardia& from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrico Barreneche in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Teofilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Enrico Barreneche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porteño Prowess FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A hard shot 31 in the game by Enrico Barreneche from a close distance when the talented Fidel Teofilio managed to make a qualified save. &La vieja Guardia&'s players were relieved. Kang Han Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beniamin Brodzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porteño Prowess FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edelmiro Tartalo was slow to take the kick. During this time &La vieja Guardia&'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led &La vieja Guardia&'s Edelmiro Tartalo to fire away a dangerous shot which Beniamin Brodzki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Alvaro Arotza in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Porteño Prowess FC's Boris Mikaelsson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kang Han Zhen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes &La vieja Guardia& got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Fernandes. Fidel Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Innocenzio came free, but Fidel Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Kang Han Zhen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the &La vieja Guardia& and the Porteño Prowess FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. &La vieja Guardia&'s Pelayo Contratas was substituted for Kang Han Zhen. &La vieja Guardia&'s Agnaldo Albuquerque was substituted for Alvaro Arotza. Kang Han Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Dobromir Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Porteño Prowess FC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, Pelayo Contratas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beniamin Brodzki. Porteño Prowess FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelayo Contratas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Udalaitz Anel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Teofilio having to make a save. Villarreal Ubach struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fidel Teofilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. If Udalaitz Anel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki got control of the ball when Pelayo Contratas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Villarreal Ubach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porteño Prowess FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Beniamin Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udalaitz Anel in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Edgar Asserlindh threw the ball into play from the sideline. Porteño Prowess FC's Alexsandro Gavilanes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th minute, Pelayo Contratas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Beniamin Brodzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelayo Contratas. 98 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Albuquerque came free, but Beniamin Brodzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 2-2. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Porteño Prowess FC's Villarreal Ubach that got to make the kick off. Fidel Teofilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Villarreal Ubach in the 102nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Albuquerque in the 110th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Beniamin Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Edgar Asserlindh in the 115th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porteño Prowess FC's Alexsandro Gavilanes. In the 116th minute Agnaldo Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when &La vieja Guardia&'s Agnaldo Albuquerque did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Fidel Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villarreal Ubach in the 126th minute of play. If Villarreal Ubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 127th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, &La vieja Guardia&'s Beniamin Brodzki threw himself towards the right post 128 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agnaldo Albuquerque, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fidel Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villarreal Ubach in the 129th minute of the match. In the 134th minute, Villarreal Ubach made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Teofilio. &La vieja Guardia&'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
