Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillaume Chaine started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrien Tanneau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 9th minute of play. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Valette Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rafail Rusev struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valette Stars. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Chaine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Nelson Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrien Tanneau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillaume Chaine in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valette Stars made a substitution. Dan Pruvot replaced Pierre-Antoine Landemaine. Valette Stars's Mathys Chassot managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 59 minute of the game. Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Rusev came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Valette Stars got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Crochard. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Valette Stars got a freekick which was hit by Armand Plaza. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Maurice Crochard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. In the 94th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armand Plaza to maneuver through the defense. The Valette Stars fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
