FC Schalke 04's Sivert Hurtig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Schalke 04 from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Palben during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Călin Rădescu was the one to do the kick off. Timoteo Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fülöp Magos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Bartha in the 59th minute of play forced FC Schalke 04's goalkeeper Sivert Hurtig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Hurtig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertold Gyurkovics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fülöp Magos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Alves in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Krisztián Bartha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Hurtig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
