With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yin Chuan Feng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Danisiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. LEBRON's Yin Chuan Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yin Chuan Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Acosta. A collision led to LEBRON getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jörn Scharff hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Danisiewicz in the 26th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Marcin Danisiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when LEBRON's Epifanio Harkaitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute of the match, Marcin Danisiewicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yin Chuan Feng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd match minute, LEBRON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Scharff to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Tajo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, one of LEBRON:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LEBRON. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Harkaitz was the one to do the kick off. LEBRON's Yin Chuan Feng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save LEBRON from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Marcin Danisiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LEBRON fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 60th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yin Chuan Feng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Epifanio Harkaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yin Chuan Feng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute. After 72 played minutes LEBRON got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Acosta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play forced LEBRON's goalkeeper Yin Chuan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Yin Chuan Feng in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yin Chuan Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play.
