Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourits Nelander in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Mourits Nelander took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of USA booed when JiOmaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelebi Sarpkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirkelam Özdoğru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelebi Sarpkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Songurbey Tuncal might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Songurbey Tuncal ran back to his position shaking his head. Songurbey Tuncal came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Day could save by the left post. Mirkelam Özdoğru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Harrison in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 26th minute of play forced JiOmaro's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özdoğru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, JiOmaro's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Mirkelam Özdoğru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirkelam Özdoğru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind JiOmaro's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özdoğru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Songurbey Tuncal struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JiOmaro. Songurbey Tuncal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mourits Nelander managed to get in a good position for a shot. JiOmaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Mourits Nelander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Özdoğru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirkelam Özdoğru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 69th minute Jacob May suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to JiOmaro getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mourits Nelander hit a great ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 70th minute, Mourits Nelander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA's Jacob May shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mirkelam Özdoğru but with some difficulty. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Mirkelam Özdoğru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mirkelam Özdoğru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khalid Parry took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mirkelam Özdoğru. Mirkelam Özdoğru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JiOmaro.
