Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Tobias Ekeberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute Felix Montes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 5 minutes, Marcus Hedström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IKS Norrköping and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Felix Montes. After a rather tough play, IKS Norrköping's Marcus Hedström got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Tobias Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Sigfridsson was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Tobias Ekeberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. If Marcus Hedström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play.

Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Marcus Hedström hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. At last the ball reached Felix Montenegro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of IKS Norrköping. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ekeberg in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Sigfridsson could save by the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Hedström's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Hedström in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
