Fausto Gaspar came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Corrupção DMZ's goalkeeper Fausto Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Corrupção DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Rossi made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 played minutes Corrupção DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Haşim Tanak. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Calistrat Scaeru's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calistrat Scaeru helped the player get up and apologised. Calistrat Scaeru kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Corrupção DMZ's 吕林威 was substituted for Calistrat Scaeru. In the 64th match minute, Corrupção DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Scaeru to maneuver through the defense. Corrupção DMZ's Fausto Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Corrupção DMZ's Fausto Gaspar got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Gaspar having to make a save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Patrick Rossi sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Corrupção DMZ throughout the match.
