Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lamine Xande made the kick off which started today's match. Xande Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Xandinho Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xandinho Kane got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marquinhos Jacinto hit a great ball. Marquinhos Jacinto got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xandinho Kane. In the 14th minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Xandinho Kane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xandinho Kane in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas De la Cruz in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xande Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Xande Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Xandinho Kane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 61st minute. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Robinho de Souza replaced Xande Musiala. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emílio Martins was substituted for Durvalino Travassos. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamine Xande in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Xande came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válbson Schmidt during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamine Xande in the 90th minute of the match. When Lamine Xande came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the New Joinville - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lamine Xande couldn't finish the play.
