Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Tomanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vladimir Tomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Loko Plovdiv's goalkeeper Vladimir Tomanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Tomanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Tomanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 24th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Tomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loko Plovdiv's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Tomanov quite easily take care of the ball. Nacho Barbutski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Nacho Barbutski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Nacho Barbutski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loko Plovdiv and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nacho Barbutski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Tomanov having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nacho Barbutski was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Nacho Barbutski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Nacho Barbutski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loko Plovdiv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Barbutski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Tomanov made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Loko Plovdiv's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Tomanov came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loko Plovdiv's Stancho Vunov was substituted for Vencho Zlatarev. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Loko Plovdiv's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Vladimir Tomanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
