Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) New Miran FC's Arturo Turner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Arturo Turner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Turner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Tonić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Charlie Vandamme from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. Gino Tonić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Tonić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Charlie Vandamme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Turner in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Mané Belino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gino Tonić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Miran FC's Laerte Marquez was substituted for Mané Belino. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when New Miran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New Miran FC.
