Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Lions Of Hell's goalkeeper Antonis Liolidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Begg Scully's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Red Lions Of Hell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Panikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonis Liolidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Red Lions Of Hell's Leo Izel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Lions Of Hell's Leo Izel. But to his dismay, Leo Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Red Lions Of Hell's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Antonis Liolidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Red Lions Of Hell getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Borys Panikowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Leo Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Leo Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Jelm in the 68th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Antonis Liolidis made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Red Lions Of Hell's Begg Scully nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Izel in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Antonis Liolidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonis Liolidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Red Lions Of Hell's Antonis Liolidis got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Red Lions Of Hell could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
