Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Johannes Weijnandts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sammy Godts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sammy Godts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Suikerklontjes's Josef Rits got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Godts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bryan Van Deuren fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suikerklontjes's protests and gave Bryan Van Deuren a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador's Luz Palacio was substituted for Daniel Zorita. Bryan Van Deuren kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Luz Palacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Godts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Luz Palacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Palacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts. Sammy Godts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sammy Godts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sammy Godts having to make a save. If Luz Palacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Josef Rits. After 44 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Josef Rits. After 45 played minutes Felix Montenegro shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts to catch but Felix Montenegro was lucky. It became 0-5 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luz Palacio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Yoachim Hauwaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Yoachim Hauwaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. With a little luck, Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Suikerklontjes from getting a goal against them. Luz Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Godts having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Johannes Weijnandts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Godts having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luz Palacio. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Sammy Godts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 91 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Sammy Godts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Johannes Weijnandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
