Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Johannes Weijnandts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Johannes Weijnandts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sammy Godts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Yoachim Hauwaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suikerklontjes's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoachim Hauwaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Weijnandts's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Herald Van de Goor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Weijnandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 29th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Sammy Godts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Kortens during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Johannes Weijnandts sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bart Van de Velde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bart Van de Velde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johannes Weijnandts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Weijnandts slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

52 minutes in the game Mike Armentier did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Johannes Weijnandts. After 52 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Suikerklontjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Herald Van de Goor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Johannes Weijnandts made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Johannes Weijnandts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Weijnandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 73rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Weijnandts came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Weijnandts in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Weijnandts in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suikerklontjes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
